Introductions:

The impressive features of the Spray Dryer include its efficient performance with very short set-up times, an effective integrated nozzle cleaning mechanism and a high degree of flexibility thanks to the different cylinder geometries. The system was designed to be stand by a keyboard, conducted by a colorful crystal screen of touch guidance mode, and allowed two modes of run: Automatic-mode, and Eye-monitored mode for the purpose of easily controlling experimental process.

Principles:
 

1. A menu driven micro-processor controller allows the selection of inlet temperature, airflow,automatic de-blocker frequency and pump speed.
2. The self-priming peristaltic pump delivers the sample liquid from a container through a small diameter jet into the main chamber. At the same time an integral compressor pumps air into the outer tube of the jet which causes the liquid to emerge as a fine atomised spray into the drying chamber.
3. Heated air is blown through the main chamber evaporating the liquid content of the atomised spray. The solid particles of the material, which are normally in a free flowing state, are then separated from the exhaust air flow by a cyclone and collected in the sample collection bottle. The exhaust is directed through a flexible 60 diameter hose direct to atmosphere or to an existing extraction system.

Advantages:
 

1. Dual control models of fully automatic control and manual control are available. During the entire experimental process, the color LCD touch screen animation display is available.
2. A built-in oil-free air compressor must be equipped with the stainless steel air tank to prevent corrosion.
3. The spray head is a concentric one. It guarantees no eccentricity during atomization that may lead to spraying to the bottle wall. The spray head can move up and down after installed to facilitate the adjustment of the atomization position to improve the spray drying effect. The spray head is made of SUS316L stainless steel.
4. Shutdown protection function: just press the stop button when shutting down. The machine will stop running immediately except for the blower to ensure that the heating part of the equipment will not break down due to improper operation(shutting down the blower by force).
5. It can be upgraded to an organic solvent model with inert loop system.
6. For the exhaust gas, 1 micron precision filter is optional.
7. Capacity: 1500~2000ML/H at inlet temperature of 200C.
8. The maximum feeding amount: The peristaltic pump is adjustable and the maximum is 2000ML/H. The minimum sample volume: 20~50ML(depending on the difference in the solid content of the materials).
9. The entire equipment framework is made of stainless steel with the two-fluid spray atomizing structure. The spraying, drying and collection systems are made of the crystal, high quality borosilicate glass material(SUS304 stainless steel or SUS316L stainless steel is optional).
10. Color LCD touch screen parameters display and adjustment: inlet temperature/outlet temperature/peristaltic pump speed/air volume/de-blocker frequency.
11. Standard with 0.7mm jet and outer sizes are available as accessories(1mm, 2mm, 1.5mm and 0.5mm).
12. Inlet temperature: 30C~300C, outlet temperature: 30~140C; (When the inlet temperature reaches 130C, the instantaneous drying can be achieved and the moisture content of the dried materials is less than 1%.
13. Drying time: 1.0~1.5S.
14. A de-blocker cleaner(needle) is equipped and it will automatically clear the blockage when the nozzle is blocked. The frequency of the de-blocker needle can be adjusted automatically.

Two Fluid Nozzle with SUS316L Stainless Steel

The stainless steel spray assembly consists of an inner tube for the liquid sample leading to a small diameter jet. An out tube directs compressed air to the nozzle. All units are supplied with 0.7mm jets, other sizes are available as accessories.

The spray assembly incorporates and automatic de-blocking device that prevents the jet nozzle from becoming blocked, the de-blocking needle is activated by an integral compressor. De-blocker is sometimes necessary with materials which may solidify or when large particles in suspension cause blockages in the jet.

Spray chamber, cyclone separator, collector are made of Borosilicate glass which can resist strong acid/alkali, high temperature.

It can work in a pollution and stable environment, and the whole process can be inspected. And we can provide SUS304 stainless steel parts. All these spare parts are easy to install and clean.

Air Compressor Built-in

Oil free compressor built-in with cushion technique, lower noise and convenient to move the dryer. Compressed air container made from the SUS304 stainless steel to avoid vapor corrosive damage.
